A Hands-On, Kindness-Led Owner Is at the Backbone of Our Company
To understand who we are, we feel it’s important you get to know who is leading our team—and that’s our owner and operator, Cesar Covarrubias.
Cesar has been in the trades for years. He was always very mechanically inclined and interested in building a legacy for his family and sons. Inspired by his father who was also an entrepreneur, he furthered his education, became HVAC-certified and began his business out of his own garage.
In only a few short years, he was running a crew and had a full-blown office, a separate equipment storage and workshop, and several work vans on the road throughout the Fox Valley region of Chicago. The business has been a success because of the simple principles of honesty, integrity, and hard work; it has never received a bad review. This is because Cesar and his team have dedicated themselves to the most up-to-date training and education, because they are more interested in having long-term, loyal customers than squeezing every person for a profit, and, therefore, Service Plus retains customers, obtains referrals and continues to grow and prosper. In 2022, Service Plus of Fox Valley became a part of ComEd and Nicor Gas’ Contractor Circle. Service Plus also added a whole new service after investing heavily in out-of-state training and top-notch equipment for duct cleaning—adding yet again to the air quality services we have been incrementally expanding.
